Diablo 3 Auction House Marketplace
Blizzard told fan sites that they will be introducing a marketplace that will allow players to sell ingame items for real money. This is mind blowing on many scales. This is good and bad news for those of us that are hardcore Diablo fans.
The Good
- Now you have more incentives to play the same Hell Hell over and over again.
- You can sell that uber Grandfather Sword that you don't use anymore for some nice cash
- You can buy a set of those rings you always wanted for tomorrow's lunch
- You don't need to keep a stock pile of goodies in your inventory , hoping to trade for the next best thing. Now you just cash in and buy it.
The bad
- Items will become less rare over time
- Farmers will make all items readily available
- You'll see level 10 nubs having better gear than you
- You no longer feel special with that 1/10000% drop from Diablo
- Your uber account will worth 50 cent in a few months
- All your hopes of becoming elite are now measured in $$
